Introduction of Air Source Heat Pump

What is air source heat pump

Air source heat pumps enjoy a good reputation of  "the porters of natural energy" with the features of lower-cost, easy operation, efficient heating effect, safety and cleanness. By using  air energy as driving force, it consumes a small amount of electricity to drive the compressor to achieve the energy transfer.

Working principle of air source heat pump

1. The refrigerant gas is compressed by the electrically driven compressor, which reduces its volume but increases its temperature significantly.

2. The compressed hot gas is now drawn into the heat exchanger where it is surrounded by the water that needs to be heated. As the gas is much hotter than the water, the gas transfers its heat to the water and condenses back into liquid form, but still at a high pressure.

3. The cooler liquid refrigerant then passes through an expansion valve which reduces the pressure. The liquid refrigerant is now able to absorb heat from the external air, allowing the cycle to begin again.

4. Heat from the outside air is transferred to the liquid refrigerant circulated through the evaporator. Because the refrigerant is cooler than the air, heat is transferred from the air to the refrigerant causing the refrigerant to change state to gas and back to the compressor.

Air Source Heat Pump

Advantage of air source heat pump

1. Safe and comfortable

Electrical components are not directly in contact with water. Water and electricity ar completely isolated, hence no danger of electric leakage;  no combustion, no CO and other toxic and harmful gases.

2. Environmental protection

Air source heat pump uses energy mainly from the air, by consuming a small part of the electricity to transferred the air heat to the interior. Compared with the traditional heating method, there is no secondary pollution.

3. Easy to install

Air source heat pump can be installed where there is air circulation without drilling or forced exhaust device, compared to other heat source equipment.

4. Highly efficient and energy-saving

Air source heat pump requires only a small amount of electrical energy to drive the refrigerant in the compressor to absorb the heat from air, saving 43% fee per month compared to gas wall-hung boilers, and save 75% fee compared to electric heating equipment.

Air source heat pump applications

Air source heat pump is widely used in central air conditioning, central hot water, swimming pool heating and dehumidification, industrial and agricultural disinfection, printing and flexible package drying and other fields.

How Does Inverter Heat Pump Works

The heat pump draws heat from the outside air through the refrigerant and transfers heat to the home air to keep your home warm during the winter. In the summer, heat pump machine running reversal, from the home air heat to cool the air, make the home more comfortable. Unlike standard furnaces or air conditioners, heat pumps provide a high level of energy efficiency to maintain utility and low cost. The inverter or variable speed heat pump maximizes efficiency and reduces the energy loss during the refrigerant cycle.

Inverter Heat Pump Works
Function

During the standard refrigerant cycle, the refrigerant progresses continuously between the compressor and the condenser, and changes from liquid to gas depending on the temperature. Once the air in the home reaches the temperature set on the thermostat, the refrigerant cycle is completely stopped and restarts only when the home temperature changes. As each cycle is restarted, the system consumes energy to equalize the pressure and allow the refrigerant to reach the correct temperature before the heating or cooling process begins.

In a machine with a variable speed compressor or inverter, the refrigerant cycle operates at a different speed depending on the temperature and the heating load. By automatically adjusting the speed of the refrigerant, the drive eliminates the energy loss caused by the stop and start.

Benefit

The inverter heat pump reduces the circulation to keep your family more comfortable and eliminates the cold airflow. By minimizing energy loss while cycling, you can also improve overall energy efficiency and energy consumption in your home. This not only helps to keep your heating and cooling costs, but also protects the environment from air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

Save Energy and Speed up Heating Time

In some heat pumps, frequency conversion technology can also reduce operating noise and extend the life of compressors and other system components.

What is Pump?

What is a Pump?

The so-called pump is a device to concentrate the decentralized material and improve their bit energy. Heat is not material, but can, Hot concentration and increase the bit energy must be achieved through the carrier, the carrier is refrigerant. Heat pump is using of a small amount of high-grade electrical energy as a driving source of energy from the low-temperature scattered heat source to absorb low-grade heat and transfer to high-temperature heat source to achieve the pump heat purpose.

What is a Heat Pump?

Steam compression heat pump is currently the most common application of heat pump. This heat pump system works as below: the refrigerant is evaporated in the evaporator after absorbing heat, after evaporate into super-heated steam into the compressor, the refrigerant will be compressed into high temperature and pressure of the gas in the adiabatic compression of compressor. Then the condenser constant pressure condensed into low temperature and high pressure liquid, the liquid refrigerant flow past the throttle to become low-temperature low-pressure liquid, and then enter the evaporator to constant pressure endothermic, and then cycle back and forth. Heat pump water heater is transfer the heat in the air to water we need.

Heat Pump

Heat pump technology is a technology to improve the energy grade, it is not the energy conversion process, so the energy conversion efficiency is not limited to 100% limit, but to comply with the inverse Carnot principle. The heat transfer coefficient of the heat transfer coefficient is also known as the Coefficient Of Performance (expressed in COP).Air source heat pump hot water equipment, the core technology is the energy efficiency ratio of COP value, selected air source heat pump hot water equipment, an important indicator should also be the size of COP value, when the energy efficiency ratio COP value is greater, means more energy-efficient.
