5 steps of care hair

Shampooing & Rinse
when shampooing your cara hair, use a mild shampoo and warm water. Be careful to shampoo the hair between the palms of your hands from the ends of the hair up to the scalp. Rinse hair from the top of the head down to the ends of the hair.

Conditioning
Use a strong conditioner with cara hair, avoiding conditioners that will weigh down the hair. Detangling products and silicone serums are also safe to use with this live cuticle hair. Avoid tangling and breakage by using a wide-tooth comb on wet hair.

Drying
Wring out the wet hair as much as possible to remove excess water in the hair. Next, towel-dry the hair as much as possible. Use a blow dryer with a strong airflow and not just a hot one. Blow drying with a flat brush and applying a protective product works best when using a blow dryer for hair straightening.

Heating
Avoid using heat exceeding 280 degrees fahrenheit on the cara hair. Use a straightening iron sparingly, and avoid using heat-styling tools with straightening treatments.

Repairing
Consider ionic products for repairing damaged hair. Lonic products are negatively charged to control the positvely charged hairs that tend to split fly away or become brittle from dryness. Lonic products-such as chemical treatments and special blow dryer-restore, deodorize and return beautiful hair to a healthy state.

Once you remove your wig, place it on a styrofoam head. This will help keep the wigs in place. Be sure to store the wig in an open and clean area, free from heat, dust or any other environmental condition that may damage it. Put it in high places away from pets and children, if you don't want your hair wigs to be ruined by pets or the children playing it as a toy.

If you plan to store the wigs for an extended amount of time, fold it in half, ear to ear, parted in the center, and placed in it's original plastic packaging. Buy a wire rack to store the wigs. Synthetic Wigs
How to wash your synthetic wigs:

1, Fill your sink basin with cool water.

2, Add one tablespoon of synthetic wig shampoo to a sink filled with cold water. Never use regular shampoo on synthetic wigs! If the wig has picked up the odor of smoke or other strong odors, you may add a teaspoon of baking soda to your basin, and blend in.

3, Immerse wig for one minute and agitate gently to a minute until the wig is saturated. Gently scrub the front of the wig cap, where it meets the forehead until clean.

4, Leave the hair wig soak in the wig basin for about 12~15 minutes.

5, Empty the wig basin of water and rinse the wig or piece in cool water. It is very important to use cool water on curly wigs, as warm water will over-relax the curls of wigs. Rinse the wig gently in cold clear water twice or until thoroughly rinsed.

6, Gently squeeze excess water out of wig. Do not rub or wring.

7, Blot the wig gently with a towel and leave in a ventilated area to air dry all over the night. Do not allow the wig to dry in direct sunlight.Do not use a hair dryer. Air dry only.

8, Apply conditioning spray on a little leave-on wig conditioner, when you start the drying process.

When the synthetic wig is completely dry, and not before, re-style the wig gently. We recommend a wig pick and not a brush or wig brush. Shaking and fluffing by hands is your best starting point for wig styling. Do not use regular shampoo. It is too strong even for human hair extensions.

How to Style Your Hair Wig

All hair wigs look different on different people. It depends on your face shape, size of your forehead, length of your neck, your jaw lines and etc. Each styles will appear differently on person to person. A little cut and shaping will make all the difference in the world. The following are some suggestions about how to style your wig:
hair styles

1, Try the "shake and go" method. Many hair styles need only a good shake or finger styling and they're ready to wear.

2, For tight curly or ringlet styles give the hair wig a vigorous shake, then gently lift and separate the curls with a pick comb or your fingers. Don't brush it.

3, For wavy styles with loose curls, brush lightly with a wig styling brush or pick comb using short, lifting strokes - just enough to relax the style.

4, For long curly styles use your fingers or a pick comb to gently lift and separate the curls. Don't brush it.

5, For straight styles brush in long, even, gentle strokes from the crown to the ends for a smooth, sleek look.

6, After each wearing, spray the ends of the hair wig with spray conditioner. Gently remove any tangles.

7, On synthetic fiber modacrylic hair wigs and hairpieces never use any heated styling tools, such as hair dryers and curling irons or other heat sources as they may damage the fiber.

8, Some hair wigs, have a "packing" top, which is, (shorter fibers at root/base of wig). These shorter fibers are there to give body and volume to the wig. A light combing from the root base in an upward direction, with a wide tooth comb/brush, will blend them into the other longer fibers. Then, using your fingers, pick out the strands and move them into the direction of the style, that you want to achieve. You may want to do this with your fingers.

9, For 100% human hair extensions, you can the heated styling tools such as hair dryers and curling irons just as you would on your own natural real hair. But do not make the temperature too high. You must make the temperature shoulder be lower than 180 degrees celsius or 356 fahrenheit.
