Before you take pictures, record video or use an online video chat
service, your computer must have a webcam installed. Fortunately, if
your computer does not have one built-in or the built-in camera is not
so clear, you can connect an external USB webcam
that will accomplish the same goal. You need the device’s driver and
software to connect a webcam to your computer. They are available on the
webcam’s installation disc. Although there are many different webcams
available from different manufacturers, the process to install a webcam
on Windows is basically the same regardless of the brand of the device.
Instructions
1. Insert the webcam’s installation disc into the disk drive of the computer.
2. The Installation Wizard window automatically opens. If it does not
automatically open, click “Start” and then “Computer.” Double-click the
disk drive to open the wizard.
3. Click the “Next” button to start the wizard.
4. Follow the instructions from the installation wizard to install
the webcam’s software. For example, choose the location on your hard
drive to install the webcam software.
5. Connect the USB webcam to your computer using its USB cable when
prompted by the wizard. And then click “Next” to continue the
installation.
6. At last, click “Finish” when the webcam installation is complete. If prompted, restart your computer.
Now you can enjoy good time with your friends via new Webcam~
