Something about LED Spotlights

LED bulbs and lights can offer more light than the original fluorescent lights while using less power. Though LED lights offer many advantages, the technology needs improvements to use 12V DC light bulbs for all applications. The LED lights are particularly suited to renewable energy systems and the LED bulbs can run directly off the power produced from solar cells or a wind turbine.

Current

The 12 VDC LED light is powered by direct current (DC).Though DC is not used in every house, it is used in cars and solar power systems.

Voltage

This is a low voltage light bulb as it uses 12 Volts. This is the amount of voltage produced by a solar battery, so the bulb can be connected directly to the solar system. The light bulb then operates perfectly with this amount of power. Converting energy from the solar DC battery to an alternating current (AC) requires enough power to burn 50 of these 12 VDC light bulbs. Therefore, using 12V DC light bulbs with a solar or wind energy system is efficient.

Directional Light

We use LED lights as spotlights because the created light is bright but is directional. Therefore, these bulbs are not recommended for home use where general light diffused in all directions is desired. The LED light bulb does work well as spotlights, flashlight bulbs and car headlights.

Advantages

LED spotlight has a much longer life cycle and it is more energy efficient and will turn on instantly. Of course, you do not need to wait for the bulb to warm up and reach full power. LED bulbs are also less likely to break and they are not affected by frequently being turned on or off.

Price

The prices of the LED spotlights now are not so expensive and they just cost around 6 dollars on mb while fluorescent bulbs cost between $2 to $4.

How to Use Air Tools

Building homes, painting houses and working on automobiles with pneumatic tools is increasingly more common. In home construction, the air compressor and the plethora of air tools available have simplified many aspects of the home building process. Shingles are nailed in rapid succession, walls and floors are built with lightning speed; all possible through the use of air tools. And the most important thing you need to remember is that, proper maintenance of air tools ensures that the benefits of using air tools far outweigh the risks.

Air Tools

Things You Need

Pneumatic tool oil

Air compressor

Air tools  (i.e. framing nailer, palm sander, etc.)

Air hose

Instructions

Air Compressor Use

The most important part of an air tool system is the air compressor. That makes caring of the air compressor is vital.

Air compressors should always be run on outlets capable of continuously supplying the load that an air compressor requires. Operation of air compressors requires a minimal amount of maintenance each day.

Air compressors have release valves at the bottom of the tank. You need to drain the air and any condensation within the tank through the release valve every afternoon or after each usage.

Consult the owner’s manual for engine care procedures. Many require lubrication at intervals to protect the engines and compressors moving parts.

Air Hoses

Air hoses are used to connect the air compressor to the air tool. Always roll the air hose up by stretching the hose out lengthwise and rolling the hose into a loop.

The hose has a natural tendency to want to roll in a loop. Guide it as it tries to loop and a clean loop is accomplished. Attach the ends of the hose to make one continuous loop.

Air Tool Usage

You need to always consult the owner manual of an air tool for individual maintenance requirements. Lubricate the tools daily by placing one or two drops of pneumatic tool oil into the end of the tool where the hose attaches.

Keep the guns out of the dirt as much as possible. Attach the ends of the hose to make one continuous loop. Attach the ends of the hose to make one continuous loop.Return the gun to its storage container at the end of each day or use.
Always ensure proper operation for safety, and never direct an air tool towards another individual.

How to Connect Bluetooth Speakers to your Cell phone or Computer

When you want to connect Bluetooth speakers to a communication device, the first thing you need to find out is that whether this device has Bluetooth capabilities. Most of the modern cell phones and laptop computers have built-in wireless Bluetooth today. Some of the old desktop computers do not have built-in Bluetooth, so you can purchase a Bluetooth USB Adapter to remedy this problem. Pairing must be performed when installing Bluetooth connections for the first time or if the pairing data has been deleted. Pairing refers to the operation of syncing cell phones, computers, and other electronics for Bluetooth communications.
Things You Need

Bluetooth communication device

Bluetooth USB adapter (if the computer does not have a Bluetooth communication device installed)

Instructions

1. First you need to turn on the connecting device (computer/cell phone) you want to pair the speaker with.

2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on the connecting device. For a Bluetooth USB adapter, plug in the adapter to the USB input and wait till the computer recognizes the adapter. Once the computer recognizes the adapter, Bluetooth communication will be automatically turned on.

3. Turn on the Bluetooth.

4. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker for more than 4 seconds. The Bluetooth status indicator will start flashing in blue.

5. Once the speakers and the device are paired the connecting device will show a prompt you to select the paired component. Select the speaker–usually the speaker will show up on the prompt as the model number (for example “Sony SRS-BT100″).

6. If you are asked for an input passkey, just try to input “0000″ or “1234.” (This is the default passkey for the majority of Bluetooth devices. If this does not work, consult the user manual or visit the manufacturer’s website.)

7. Once pairing is complete the Bluetooth status indicator on the speaker will quickly flash.

Now you can enjoy your new Bluetooth speaker~

Use the Password to Protect an External Hard Drive

With the rise in popularity of external hard drives comes the question of their security. And you must do some type of protection to use these external hard drives with any sensitive files. The easiest way is to use a password to protect any external hard drive you use.

External Hard Drive

Instructions

1. First, you need to decide that whether you would like to pay for a software package to provide this security on the external hard drive. You can find some free software downloads and pay downloads on the Internet. The pay versions may offer more security, but if money is tight, but you also can choose the free version.

2. Now you need to connect the external hard drive to your computer.

3. Download the password protection software to your external hard drive. Install the software with onscreen instructions. See the resources section for more information.

4. The next step is to choose a password to protect the external hard drive. The password needs to be easy to remember but not so common that others will guess the password and gain access to the external hard drive.

5. Follow the user instructions of the downloaded software to password protect the external hard drive.

6. At last, let's test the external hard drive security by connecting the drive to another computer and try to access the drive. If you install the software successfully, it will ask you for the password established in Step 4.
