How Do I Wash Synthetic Wigs

Synthetic Wigs
How to wash your synthetic wigs:

1, Fill your sink basin with cool water.

2, Add one tablespoon of synthetic wig shampoo to a sink filled with cold water. Never use regular shampoo on synthetic wigs! If the wig has picked up the odor of smoke or other strong odors, you may add a teaspoon of baking soda to your basin, and blend in.

3, Immerse wig for one minute and agitate gently to a minute until the wig is saturated. Gently scrub the front of the wig cap, where it meets the forehead until clean.

4, Leave the hair wig soak in the wig basin for about 12~15 minutes.

5, Empty the wig basin of water and rinse the wig or piece in cool water. It is very important to use cool water on curly wigs, as warm water will over-relax the curls of wigs. Rinse the wig gently in cold clear water twice or until thoroughly rinsed.

6, Gently squeeze excess water out of wig. Do not rub or wring.

7, Blot the wig gently with a towel and leave in a ventilated area to air dry all over the night. Do not allow the wig to dry in direct sunlight.Do not use a hair dryer. Air dry only.

8, Apply conditioning spray on a little leave-on wig conditioner, when you start the drying process.

When the synthetic wig is completely dry, and not before, re-style the wig gently. We recommend a wig pick and not a brush or wig brush. Shaking and fluffing by hands is your best starting point for wig styling. Do not use regular shampoo. It is too strong even for human hair extensions.
